The Greatest Stories Ever Told is an ongoing project about publishing and translation. Each book is based on the English original (2015), a collection of 22 stories written in style of fable, nursery rhyme and poetry by the artist Ho Tam. The stories, ranging from melodrama to political satire, are supplemented by collages of images from international banknotes.

The project has since been translated into 13 different languages, with each version uniquely re-designed.

The French edition of 'Greatest Stories' is the first translation among the series. The cover is in plain deep blue with contents printed on textural rice paper in the interior pages. The rice paper pages are doubly folded and bound by threads. All folding and binding are done by hand. The materials and printing make the book resemble a classical and traditional Chinese book but with a French twist.
