ROBIN FRY

Robin Fry was born in Halifax in 1976. He studied art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. He has lived and worked in Vancouver, Halifax, Toronto and Berlin.

 

 Fry has been developing his abstract and figurative painting practice for over two decades. Continuously exploring technique and experimenting with material he follows the lead of his subconscious, delving into the darker regions of the psyche. He has had solo exhibitions with Helen Pitt Gallery (Vancouver), Paul Petro (Toronto) and Hiromart Gallery (Tokyo) and recently his work was included in curatorial projects at soon.tw (Montreal), Peanuts Gallery (Vancouver), Weird Things (Toronto) and Loyal Gallery (Stockholm).
