Maura Doyle is an artist working in experimental writing, publishing, ceramics, sculpture, drawing and video. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and an MFA from the University of Guelph. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally, including recent survey exhibitions at Kamloops Art Gallery (2025) Audain Gallery (Vancouver, 2024) and Gallerie Axeneo7 (Gatineau, 2023). Her most recent publication Beaver Baffler: Architecture of a Universe was published by Gibson Art Museum (2025). A participant in residencies at Banff Centre for the Arts (Alberta); Open Studio (Toronto); and Carleton University Art Gallery (Ottawa); Doyle’s work is held in the collections of the City of Toronto, City of Vancouver, City of Ottawa, Fidelity Investments, TD Bank Group, RBC, Ottawa Art Gallery, and Global Affairs Canada. She was the recipient of the 2017 K.M. Hunter Award for Visual Art. Doyle lives and works in Ottawa / Algonquin Anishinabeg Aki.
